They released the loyalty rewards a good month before the release of Garden Warfare 2 so you had plenty of time to power level to rank 313 and if you did not do this, you don't deserve the unicorn ch...

your arguments dont hold any water for this being locked at Rank 313, i played since month 2, i just played, i didnt bother getting levels past unlocking all the variants because there was no need, so i played for fun for 2 years, am i any less deserving of a reward for long time players? no.
locking this at Rank 313 is stupid, rank is no measure in GW1 of loyalty or time spent playing, the unicorn chomper should be available to those who, like me, put the hours in PLAYING the game not just ranking up.

When I first read about the legendary chomper after the beta, that was exactly my thoughts. I've been playing this game for 2 years not really concentrating on levelling up. I had hundreds and hundreds of hours, many more by a country mile than anybody else on my friends list. So I know how you feel. I'm not sure what the answer is. I do know (and I have mentioned this before on these forums), the basis of this arguement is "How does one define/determine loyalty". In this particualr case the dev has arbitrarily decided that loyalty is defined by reaching level 313. At this particular point in time this doesn't seem to be negiotable. It may have been better to have an either/or level 313 or say 313 hours. For the Dev it was probably damned if you do, damned if you dont. I dont think anybody is saying that some people are less deserving than others. Its more a case of people fulfilling the said criteria. Its a shame one little purle chomper has created so much derision.
