You ruined the game, WTF?

I left for a few days to go play Titanfall got bored and came back to get my PvZ fix and the game is ruined?!?! Everything was perfect before, now it's so laggy, get frequent disconnects but even when I don't get disconected the game is so laggy you can barely kill anyone, you have to guess where they are to compensate for the lag and even then you get killed in an insta second because someones been shooting you for the last 5 seconds but you didnt know due to the lag.. WTF EA? The game was perfect, I loved it so much, why did you have to ruin it???? ☹️

Let's try to get to the bottom of the lag issue.

Which console are you on?

I am assuming you are in GnG?

I am also assuming you tried clearing the cache etc? (Xbox One instructions below)

Power cycle your console. Here’s how:
On the console, press and hold the Xbox button until the light behind it turns off (about 5 seconds), which means the console is off.
After the console has shut down, unplug the power cord and wait 30 seconds.
Plug the console back in and turn it on using the Xbox button. Power cycling will reset the network card and clear the cache.
