This is my favorite BfN and video game story in general. I just have to share it with all of you. It even has a message about morals and being friendly towards others. This story could be featured in a children's book.
First Contact
My sister and I like to play the game in split screen. A couple of months ago when we were playing BfN, we noticed there were 2 players with very similar user names in the opposing team. We figured they were probably siblings and playing in split screen as well.
After some time, we stumbled upon them in combat. They were taunting us after they vanquished us and one of them ran way when he was low health.
My sister didn't think much of it, but I had experienced many toxic players that day and was a bit mad. I did a shameful thing. I used the infamous brown emoji on them.
In this case I don't even regret it, because it made them remember us and was the start of a beautiful story.
We weren't targeting each other, but whenever we vanquished each other, we were taunting. We figured all of us had fun doing it and weren't getting angry.
The next day
The next day we encountered them in pvp again. We had a lot of fun vanquishing and taunting each other. My sister decided to send the "Loving" emoji after vanquishing one of them. She just wanted to symbolize that we didn't mean to be toxic but considered it to be harmless fun. Then they stopped shooting at her and sent some nice emojis themselves. She stopped to shoot at them as well. It was really weird because we didn't want to annoy the other players by not playing the game the intended way, but also didn't want to put our newly found peace at risk. When they kept shooting at me, I sent the "Loving" emoji as well. Then we weren't trying to vanquish each other anymore. Suddenly some other zombies appeared and vanquished us. Then they started to send the "Sadness" emoji and were grieving over us. They even said "Stop" to the zombie who vanquished us. It was the cutest thing I had ever witnessed in an online shooter. We were just worried about the other players getting mad. We ended up continuing to play as normal, but instead of shooting at each other, we vanquished other players.
The third encounter
After a few days we encountered them again. This time I was finally put in the same team as them, so we didn't have to worry about vanquishing each other. My sister was placed in the opposing team by matchmaking, because the plant team was full. We all played as Peashooter. One of them dressed his Peashooter to look exactly like mine! When the game was about to be over, we met each other and exchanged nice messages. Here's a screenshot of it:
Other encounters
We encountered them a few more times in pvp since then. One time my sister and them were in the plants team, while I was put in the zombie team. They were all playing as Acorn. They said "Wait here!" and "Be right back!" to her. Then they respawned and returned. Guess what happened: they changed their acorns to look like hers! I was playing as Electric Slide. Once the match ended, they sprinted towards me and jumped on top of me. I had 3 little Acorns swirling around me and jumping on top of my head.
I hope some more people share their stories 😇. I still have a few and it would be weird if I were the only one continuing to post here 🤔.
Today I have two more stories to share:
I once played Turf Takeover on the Peachy District map. I was playing as Peashooter and got on top of the roof of the house that is in front of the garden capture point. A sunflower followed me up there and started healing me. This was shortly after bots were added to pvp. The zombie team was half bots half players. The bots immediately started to snipe us after leaving their base. I walked a few steps back every time I was low health, so I was covered by the slope of the roof. The sunflower, however, didn't do this. She was vanquished 12 times on this roof and I revived her every time. After the garden point was captured and we headed to Uno Taco, the sunflower disappeared. I was quite confused.
A minute later, another Peashooter approached me. He looked exactly like mine and started jumping around me. Guess who it was: my slightly derpy Sunflower friend from before 😃.
The second story happened in Team Vanquish on the Oozevoir map. This is only one of the many times this happened. I was, once again, playing as Peashooter. I was bouncing on the slime with an Electric slide. We both couldn't aim while bouncing up and down and got bored, so we started talking to each other via the in-game messages. After this, the Electric Slide stopped shooting at me.
This happened many times to me on this map with other players. It happened yesterday, but only with a Wizard I got to low health. He then started talking to me. I still accidentally vanquished him. After respawning, he said "Heya!" and stopped shooting at me.
- TheSprinter856 years agoHero@benn1nat0r Well, there was this time where I shot a Potato Mine at the end of a round of Garden Ops where my brother was, so it vanquished him. I did that so I could revive him, you know, the usual.
There was another time where there were no Plants around and we were on Zombies. There was a Potato Mine RIGHT THERE and I just stepped on it, like seriously? It was right there. At least my brother and other allies got to revive me for free!- TheSprinter856 years agoHero
What if I was to tell you of an experience that happened just today!
Me and my brother were on Plants in Turning Point. I was Citron (trying to get Hero vanquishes), and my brother was Kernel Corn (with the Shogun-Guard upgrade). There was this uncustomised Peashooter (player, not Al). Before the start of the match, they started using expressions such as “Follow Me!” and all that. We did follow them, when they went to Pea Gatling, me and my brother would both shield him in Gatling. We revived them when they got vanquished (actually I did, my brother has a more offensive playstyle in general and I have a more defensive). They were super friendly, when I got to low health and retreated, they came and followed me and made sure I was fine (they sent me and my brother a party invite and we accepted it, so we could hear them. They kept naming me by my gamer tag as well which was funny). They also friended both of us. We friended them back. I messaged them for a while. The following game, they go Space Station on Peachy District on Zombies, we and other players (the player must have made friends with other Xbox players) joined them to make a couple fully loaded space stations. It was a blast, and something I never experienced in my BFN experience so far. Also, they told me it was their first day of playing the game and they really were enjoying it.
And that is my story.

I don't really have a goofy story but I have a comeback game story in Battle Arena. It is the best game I remember I had solo-queing and it was before Steam Blaster was nerfed.
So I did a Ranked Battle Arena, and I knew my 'luck' would kick around eventually. This 'luck' was getting 3 brownplates as teammates, two of which just started, and one which was about to become 200.To make matters worse, I am a max rank (very close to) so I got the other high levels on the other team staring me down with those Zombie eyes.
So for the first 3 rounds my team was steamrolled by the composition of Engineer, Branium Basher, Steam Blaster, and Wizard (Or What I Would Call Cancer). I tried my best, but it ultimately wasn't going well. I have 1v4 before, but I can't always pull it off.
It was hopeless, especially considering one of my teammates left and, surprise, useless bot appeared.
But as I was feeling like every time I show dominance and utter supremacy in this game mode I get the stupidest match ever, I won the fourth round. It was intense, but since the other team wasted all their brain-dead characters, we started to steam-roll them.
YES! Max Ranks Started To Get Demolished By One Max Rank, Two Noobs, and a Bot!
Each round we took the W and making the enemies angrier as they started to use the angry emoji's, and it came to overtime match point. I was Nightcap.
My team was winning as we had 3 alive (the bot died), while the max ranks only had a Steam Blaster left (They had a couple brain-dead zombies saved)
The objective spawned and my noob teammates went on it. The Steam blaster warped in, taking my teammates down within a flash. They did some damage but not enough. I was the last one left.
It was a 1v1, Nightcap vs Steam Blaster
I started by shooting at him while bhopping, dodging all his steam. He was going to teleport around, trying to get the advantage to one-shot me, but I predicted he would use that and used Casting Shadows to mess him up and used Fung Fu to try and finish him off, but he chose to waste both his teleports to run away and heal.
I continued to capture the point, keeping a watchful for all locations.
3 seconds passed and he was still nowhere to be seen.
Then I spotted him, running straight for me and the objective since I was about to capture. I fired at him dealing a lot of damage, then he fired his steam blaster which almost killed me. I jumped to the left, and finished him off before he fire his next shot.
And like that my team made on of the biggest comebacks I have done.
But I ultimately still lost, because that was a placement match, and of course, with all wins, I got C-
Popcap really needs to fix Battle Arena.

The most amazing thing just happened. I managed to record it, but I can't seem to figure out how to upload xbox videos on here. If I ever do, I'll post the video.
I was playing ops in z tech as Electric Slide, and the Pumpkin Boss appeared. I've never beaten this boss, so I was excited to get another try. The first part of the battle went really well, we got some good damage on it. Around the second phase, the gluttonous chomper appeared again and we chased it; this one was really hard to hit for some reason, so I decided to trap it against the wall with my funky bouncer. The very second I pushed the button, I realized that there was not a wall behind the chomper, in fact there was only a cliff. I looked over the edge and saw the seed we needed, floating there in the air very far away from us. My teammates caught up with me, and when they realized my foul mistake, they all decided to jump off the edge and end their pain. It's been a long time since I've laughed as hard as I did!
