Zombies are not Balanced
Zombies are not balanced(...again). There is so much to talk about I don't even know where to start. They are way stronger than the plants. I was on something around a 7 to 8 game loss streak as the plants. Then I play one zombie game to complete a quest and I win.(Even though the plant player was level 4 and all zombie players are rank 12 and up- up to a rainbow star rank. But how do you think they got so high in the first place?) I actually started out playing as the zombies, and I was winning 85-90% of the time, but I switched to plants after I realized that the zombies were 'overpowered'. (Plus, the plants have better designs anyways in my opinion.)
Like the Arm Wrestler Zombie... Why does it cost 1 brain? ONE BRAIN. At the most he should only buff himself with damage and not health. Or cost at least 3 brains.
There needs to be a huge overhaul that either weakens zombie buffs and abilities, increases the brain cost of the zombies, or reduces the cost of plants.(Or all of the above) Right now almost every zombie placed has a special ability, either to buff itself or other zombies or both or something that will debuff the plants or move them. And most of them cost 4 brains or below. And Zombie buffs are also continues, like the Chicken Mascot Imp, the Arm Wrestler, the Party Dancing Zombie, etc... Where every round they get stronger and stronger. While with the plants its "When Place: Get +2 health". Which becomes useless against 'Deadly' Zombies that are probably hiding in a gravestone so you can't see it. Speaking of, the entirety of the Zombie play order is better than the Plants.
Zombies place first, they have the first move.
Plants can react, yes, but they'll most likely just be defending from a zombie with high attack(Like the Tennis Zombie.)
But the Zombies have the gravestones anyways so you still can't even tell what they're doing. Taking away from the 'reaction'. It could be a Gargantuar that will do 6 damage to you so you place a plant in front. Or it could be a Sumo Zombie and it moves the plant away, so you take 2 damage anyways(Most likely more because of cheaply priced buff tricks).
THEN, then ZOMBIES get a reaction with the trick phase. They get first placement AND a reaction. That would be okay if you had to pick and choose, Zombies or Tricks. But everything Zombie's have is so cheap you can do both. Plants make a combo? Well Zombies can just "Destroy this plant" "Destroy all plants with said number of attack or defence". Plants are so weak when first placed to begin with so that usually wipes them out. Becuase plants like the Spineapple cost three. Or like the Aquatic Smackadamia which costs 5. You can't place them out and something else with them to buff them, you can only place one. While zombies can put out a +2+2 zombie that cost one brain, then uses the camel crossing twice to give it +4 health, AND when you put a plant in front of that zombie it gets +1+1. Next turn, buff that zombie +2+2, now it's pretty much unstoppable. Now it's invincible this turn because of the Coach. Now it's getting +1+1 every turn because of the Chicken Imp, which is also making itself stronger.
Try to stop them with a 2/1 2 cost plant? Or a 3/3 5 cost plant? "Destroy this Plant".
There is no way to counter the Zombie trick phase. There should be a card where "Zombies can't play tricks this turn". Because right now there is nothing you can do about their buffs or instant takedowns.
Plants just cost way to much sun to compete with the cheap zombies who all buff each other to at least +3+3 every turn. I think I forgot to talk about something, but i'm done for now. There needs to be a balance patch quick.
