Zomboss always speaks to Plants team on Herbal Assault maps

I don't know if this was intended or if it is a bug, but I've played a lot of Herbal Assault since I like the Turf Takeover game mode the best, and every time the zombies are on defense for their graveyards, at the final capture point, Zomboss is always talking to the plants. Is that intended? For example, in Moon Base Z, he is the one yelling that the plants have scored, even if you're on plant side. Same with Zomburbia. If you're a plant crashing the party, he is still talking about plants crashing the party. Is Crazy Dave not relevant in those situations?
