Nintendo's sites has this game is only compatible with the Switch 2 but other ads online seems to show that it will work on the Switch 1 as well. Does anyone know for sure whether or not the game will be compatible with the Switch 1? Not planning to upgrade to the new console anytime soon but would love this game.
The game supports the Switch 1, just make sure you don't accidentally buy the Switch 2 version (shouldnt happen if ordered on the Switch 1 eShop)
The game is on pre-order and there is only one version. On the Nintendo website, it says it is for Switch 2, but the general video ads online say it is for both.
The game is up for pre-order on Switch 1, as you can see on the official Nintendo website.

When I go to that link it shows the UK version is for the Switch 2.
