Yes especially the VS mode, there’s a lot that could use work there. There are 3 zombies from the original that are missing here (newspaper, catapult, and jack in the box). The zombie brain production is way too fast and inconsistent with the plants’ sun production, unlike in the original. Flower pot and plantern are now free and have no recharge so they’re just tools for infinite stalling which is incredibly unfun to fight against. Finally, gravestones can now be destroyed by instakill plants like jalapeño, doom-shroom, squash, chomper, etc, which can allow plants to score some extremely cheap and unfair early target kills, and is inconsistent with the graves’ function as walls in the original. Please adjust the mode in these ways so it can be the same experience fans remember and loved from the old days.
