boggle bash

Is there any way we can keep playing bogglebash  - figure out a way without flash or redo a new similar game?   We LOVE it.

Thank you.

  • Hello there @jodieplaysxq ,

From what I am seeing on the Pogo Forums about Boggle Bash, you still have until November 30th 2020 to continue playing as the game will be retired on December 1st 2020.

With a high demand of users requesting Boggle Bash to stay, it is being retired because it is a Flash Game and Pogo is trying to update most if not all of their Flash supported games to the HTML5/HD format.

I would recommended following Pogo_Llama's Bi weekly Blog/Insider as well as the Pogo Latest News section as your game might appear here if it returns or is remade.

    Happy Gaming and Stay Safe!

What exactly is the issue with not moving Boggle Bash to HTML? Is it an ownership (Hasbro) issue? Is it a "non money maker" for Pogo?  Is it not a big user demand (unlikely)?  Could Pogo PLEASE explain WHY this game will no longer be available to its many players? Something more than "it's being retired" would be appropriate for the many paying (or not), loyal Pogo customers

Just curious:  if Flash isn't being discontinued until 12/31/20, why did they end Flash games on Pogo a month earlier on 11/30/20??

    Thanks.

@Player_5sjscsn4, I am gonna take a guess on the reason and an EA manager can verify it or provide another explanation. EA had intended to end Flash games back in May of 2020 but they extended some of the Flash games for 6 more months. They might have bought the rights to use these Flash games for another 6 months, which would mean the games would be retired at the beginning of December. Another possible explanation is that some features of Flash might not work now even if Flash is still mostly supported by Adobe until December 31. I know another game site that uses the Flash platform and it discontinued the use of browser login in December, because some browsers are not allowing logging into Flash based websites.
