i loaded canasta to 7/27/21 and they changed it for the worse. you cant talk to players while you are playing them. took the excitement out of the game. if they do not fix this i probably will not be a customer any longer.
Hey there @backsliderruffus You can still chat with players while you are playing with them. All you have to do is click on the chat bubble on the bottom right of your screen and then click on "Table Chat" option.

What about taking boot opt...If i dont want to play with someone in 800s i am 1200s...what are they going to do to let us accept who joins our table
The option of clicking on CHAT and then for the table game only works if both people do that. Usually, we play with a random opponent, so that isn't helpful. Would like to see the feature returned to the individual games. And the scoring to be fixed. It works perhaps half the time. Sometimes nothing changes, sometimes it's a loss instead of the actual win. Takes away a lot of the fun. :-(
