Old Pogo Account (Yes another one of these)
Alright, for the person who reads this, here is the situation and what I have done to try to remedy it. This will have a bit...cynical in tone. This is not meant in malice, I just want to be very clear and deliberate in what I say to avoid any error in understanding.
I created a Pogo account sometime before 2011, probably like 2008 or something. Thats not super duper important, just context for how old the account is. In 2018 I believe I missed the migration period for my Pogo account to turn into an EA account. What I want is to know if I can recover this account and how I can recover it if possible.
Here is what I have tried. If you are a support person reading his, PLEASE, PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS LIST BEFORE REPLYING:
1. I have tried to recover the account via the "forgot login information" on the Pogo website. Obviously there is no EA account with my Pogo username nor email, so this does nothing.
2. I tried to use some links from old Pogo emails I have. They do not work. This is expected but was worth a try.
3. I have spent 3 hours on customer support chat, with 3 different people. Ultimately this has been fruitless because I have no information on any EA account, just my old Pogo account.
Now, I have over 60 old emails from this Pogo account, spanning several years. The oldest email I have is from 2010, and the newest I have is from 2018, ironically being the email about migrating the account. Go figure.
Most of these emails are orders, both using gems and with Paypal/Credit Card. This should be enough to verify the pogo account is mine.
The issue is, I obviously have no idea what my IP address would be, nor give the correct address unless I know the timeframe I am verifying (I have moved several times over the last decade). I can provide details on orders from the Pogo account, but again, not anything attached to an actual EA account. If there is an EA account associated with this account, I did not create it.
I am hoping this reaches higher up than an AI bot or basic support. I have tried many many things, but what I need is someone very familiar with this situation. I need someone who can help me or at least verify there is no way to get this account back.
I appreciate any reply but please assume I have tried any basic action I could have trying to solve for this.
