mawmaw98player You say EA is making improvements to Pogo. No, you are not!!! Making it worse in many paid members view!!! Why take off every game we love to play and be able to chat side by side with our newly made friends!!!! Why give us the option to even chat?? That chat option at the bottom of nearly every game is not friendly, flip flopping to chat below the game is not correct and does not make it fun for us, the paid members!!!! Also, private chat option was totally removed, so cannot enjoy chatting with our friends or newly made friends without interruptions from other players, even the unpaid members coming in on our conversation! From bad to worse is all you have done with pogo. Bet your business drops drastically! What else could you expect, pogo is not fun anymore, when you take away the things we pay for because we enjoy the way it has always been since we joined the club pogo!! Dominoes is the most fun to play on here, and you are taking it off, what the heck!!! The majong games/puzzles are terrific, even the newly looking ones, but we like to make friends and chat with our friends on here, even relatives play and chat with each other. Our privacy has been taken away by you!! Please, please, please relook at what you are doing to mess up our world of enjoyment, relaxation, meeting new people and enjoying it all!!! The changes are not good at all for the betterment of pogo! Just saying..................Thank you for reading and listening if you guys really are!!! mawmaw98player Member since 2008 or 2009 one.

Rest assured that Chat is coming to Pogo Early Access. It's not available yet, but it will be. We also know that a lot of people prefer the side chat to the chat under the games. Thank you very much for your feedback and helping us continue to build Pogo Early Access for the community.

We currently plan on implementing chat in Phase 3. I don't have an ETA on that, but as we get closer to release, it will be announced on the Pogo Insider Blog by Pogo_Llama. Keep an eye out there for updates.

The chat feature is what makes Pogo a draw for me. I haven't rejoined Pogo because I am waiting to see what chat will be like in the new version.

I totally agree. I am 81 and met my present wife here on POGO 10 years ago. Would never of found this amazing lady if we were not able to chat with friends and make new ones. I flew from Ct. to Alaska to meet her. I thought it was just to meet a friend and see a bit of Alaska. I had many friends on POGO and have lost track of over 150 of them. I use this old laptop (over 10 years old itself ) for 2 things only. I plat POGO and I have a gold membership to a Karaoke site. I sometimes sing for up to 3 hours at a stretch. Give us back the old fun POGO. one of my favorite games

I understand that you enjoyed talking to your friends and are worried that with Flash going away, you won't be able to talk to your friends anymore. But that is not the case, fortunately. You can still stay in touch using the chat system on the new Pogo experience. ๐
You can access it from the bottom of the game menu on the right side of the screen.
When you join chat, you're automatically placed in one of several available rooms. If you have any friends playing, you will automatically be placed in the same room as them when you join. You can easily hop between the different rooms by clicking on the room name at the top.
You can easily connect with old friends (and make new ones, of course). When you click on another player's avatar, it will bring up additional information, along with "Add Friend", "Report" and "Block" options.

Exactly, I hate it, I want the Classic back!
I find that it is hard on my eyes , don't like the new format , gives me a headache , thats what happens to us old folks when you change things and you don't consider the out come
I personally dont see anything wrong with the look of the new format. Yes, it is a bit cartoonish, but it does not give me a headache.
I do know that many people however have said they get headaches from it as well. Some are figuratively speaking as some are being serious. I have asked this to many, but no real answer.....What gives you a headache @grandept935 . Maybe if EA can get some answers to this, they MIGHT be able to change it???

I agree with you. I don't like it either and if I can't get use to it I'll cancel my club pogo account.
I agree with Mawmaw98player completely. I have been a POGO member for almost the entire start of this site, 19 years, & I do not like this change. It is NOT enjoyable or as much fun anymore !! I would like to switch back but can't. I dislike this "new" format immensely !!

I agree...i just came back to pogo in june after an absence for a bit...this site has absoluely been destroyed....i love to bowl and they will be removing it this year...too many what i call childish games.Alot of the people i know wont be renewing their membership.Mine is up next June and i am pretty sure this will be it for me.No enjoyment anymore.It it isnt broken dont fix it !!
i agree with you. the games i like to play cannot load now. thinking to not renew at the end of the month.
Personally, I have had little to no problems playing in the new HTML5/HD games. I make sure to clear my browser, clean out my files and so on. I play on my phone 95% of the time and for me that is a big plus. ๐

I have just renewed my pogo membership after a year off only to find that Jungle Gin, Dominoes and Hog Heaven and Qwerty are all going. I wish I had not renewed my membership. These are the only games I like to play. What is the matter with the old games and why can they not be left alone.
I am very disappointed in the changes to the new Pogo format of games. The games that I have ease in playing are going away and for someone who has a neurological disease, the games being presented in the new format are frustrating and not very user friendly. I h ave not been a member for 12 years for no reason. I had a loyalty to this site because of the ease of the games. When I am having a good day and want to play some games, it's like playing with an old friend. The new games are going to frustrate me and you may lose more paying members other than myself due to this change. Yes technology changes, but couldn't your coders work with the new technology to save those games like Yahtzee and Monopoly to name a couple?
I could go on and on but I do not feel I could compose a message to the owners of Pogo without the extensive use of obscenity and not having my main message be considered.

agreed, i am up for renewal and i don't like what i'm seeing..i want monopoly, vaults of atlantis, roulette and poker back
I really hate the new format for scrabble. The majority of people quit if you are winning a game. There is now way to increase your ranking. It is very frustrating.
