Activating/deactivating marathon badges

If you go click on your avatar/icon on the top right of the new-style home page, a column will open showing your avatar a little larger, plus links to your Inbox and other things.  Click in the empty space to the right of your avatar and then click the gear icon.  Choose "back to my collection".  That takes you back to the page that shows all of your albums.  From there, you can select "Badges" (near the top) or "Badge Central" below that.  Both of those will take you to the Badge Central page.  You can also choose Find a Badge (which is still easier for me to choose a new badge to work on than the new way).  On the Find a Badge space, you can still see badges for sale that will retire soon... so much handier than the new challenge central.

I use Badge Central all the time to keep track of badges in progress, although it doesn't show marathon or GOTM badges.  However, it looks like it may have changed since last night... now it's only showing the two weekly (Wednesday) badges and two M&M badges, instead of the several badges I have activated at this time.  I hope that's just a temporary glitch and it will start showing the rest of my active badges like it usually does.

The new way doesn't seem as efficient or concise to me, but this is where you go on the new pages.  Click the three bars on the left top, click on challenge, and select Challenge Central.  On Challenge Central, below the splash screen, the first row shows the daily challenges, the weekly (Wednesday)  challenges, and some additional special badges.  Scroll down a row or two until you see "Active Challenges".  Scroll to the right and it shows your active badges, their progress, and time left.  If you have more badges active that don't show up there, click on "See all active challenges".  It will take you to a page where it will show you all of your active badges.

Not only can we not go to another marathon game, but I am not getting my points, unless I complete the game. I have gone as far as I can in the game Quinn's Aquarium, with no more available  matches and because I haven't completed it, I get no credit for the m atches I've made. I have played the game for 2 days and never completed it.  Fixed?  You betcha!!!That is BS. Totally not happy. You would think that POGO would listen to their paying customers!!!!

In golden hive, I accidentally activated Garden Blast in which I have been at the same games for months now.   I can't win this game at level 250.  I want to deactivate this badge and go for one of the other five available.

It is definitely a problem with the new marathon.  I accidentally activated the merge academy task, which happens to be impossible to do in 6 days.  And now I am locked out of changing the task.  Which locks me out of the whole marathon.  This really sucks!!  I want to be able to deactivate the merge academy task and choose another one.

Also, I would like to deactivate a badge I have clicked on in an event, and choose another badge to do first.  Pogo will not allow me to deactivate, the message says I must complete it before choosing another badge.

Actually, this has been a rule for 6 game Marathons for years.
