Canasta - scoring not working

Canasta is such a mess. The game was a daily habit and relaxation, while bedridden with a chronic illness. Now there are so many glitches it's no longer a pleasure. I've been a Club member since the earliest days and am searching for a new site that works better.

The scoring is usually not working correctly. Often, after winning a game, the ratings don't change. Sometimes, after winning, the rating actually goes DOWN!

Sometimes the game disappears during play. If I quickly hit join and play, it'll get be back to the same game. Sometimes not.

Having CHAT gone takes away a lot of the fun. It would seems the programmers could easily fix that, as many people have asked about it.

Is anyone dealing with these issues??????

@EA_Illium Thanks for that thorough guide. Some I've done. I won't delete cookies - that would affect so many of the sites I regularly visit. Have tried other browsers. Still don't have chat, scores still messed up. Others report the same issues.

Yes, it's "only" a game. No stress. BUT to enjoy the game to its fullest, as I did for years with Pogo, it IS frustrating to not have it work well.

I was programming in the 1980s, and it's certainly come a long way since way back then. Hard to believe today's brilliant programmers can't fix these simple problems.

We do miss our old Canasta, which for years was so much fun!

Grrrrrr.......scoring still messed up. I just won a game and my rating went DOWN! What the heck is going on? It seems that could be fixed!

Doggone it! Again, after winning a game, my rating went down. Is there a better place to ask for help for this recurring issue?
Also, the disruption during a game continues to occur. A screen pops up were I have to select PLAY and then the screen with PLAY RANKED. Usually, by moving quickly, I return to the game in progress.
We'd really like to see these problems fixed. Is anyone in authority aware of these annoying issues? And of course, wanting CHAT back.

Same thing win a game and my scores goes down. Doesn't make sense. Or can be winning a game and the opponent leaves ...says I win the game and my score goes down.

It surely would be great if someone would deal with this scoring issue, after all this time. It takes a lot of the fun out of playing canasta here. Same with no chat during a game. Has anyone found another website for playing canasta, without so many problems? I've been here for a looooong time - since the 1990s, and a Club Pogo member since it became available. But I'm just about on tilt, ready to find something new. :-(

@meemme11 This is my complaint and theyh referred me to a forum, what good is that? My points go down all the time.

@JoanneLP iI agree, I love the game Canasta, rating does not concern me but I do not like to see it going down all the time.
