We're approaching a year with this rating issue. It's getting worse, not better. I have been playing off and on since early morning, and every time I return after a brief break, my rating goes down, anywhere from 4 to 21pts. Once in a while when I win, my rating increases, usually it drops. I just beat a player rated at 1235 by 1000 pts and my rating dropped from 985 to 969. It's patently unfair, only happens to some of us, we all pay, and EA does nothing but ask for the same dumb info over and over.When will something be done? The easiest thing to do is count wins and losses and drop the rest of the data you collect. EA NEVER EVEN REPLIES!!
I have always lost points almost daily, but this was a different situation. I finished playing a rated game. I did not leave the site. I decided to work on a badge playing with bots. As soon as I hit that category, MY RATING DROPPED 40 POINTS. THE GAME HAD NOT EVEN STARTED!!!!!!!

Wanted to give an update on Canasta Ratings after games. We have received multiple reports and our team is currently investigating the cause of this.

I certainly won't hold my breath. It's worse, not better. Please stop with your fake "concern" and do something!
