Chat going down days prior to your e-mail above to me 2 DAYS AGO was going down. Hundreds of people had the problem. It would go out for HOURS one day. The next day more hours down and one day it was down ALL DAY. The box with "OOPS!" would come up and tell users to "refresh chat" or "close chat". Nothing worked. It WAS out more than it wasn't. I would suggest you got lucky.
I also want to point out the gripe users of Pogo have and that is the FACT it is very difficult to report issues going on with the site. This site needs to get on level ground, and it is either Pogo OR EA. Navigation on Pogo since EA came into the picture a few years now is horrendous. There is still Pogo pages people do use and navigating that EA has users all over the place on that EA side of Pogo. It is a mess. Users are disgusted with that EA side. Simplify how to report site technical problems for users because it is terrible. Fix it. Put an OPTION on the Pogo menu to "Report a technical problem". Why do we always have to flip flop to Pogo and then that EA looking where to report problems?
