Newbie is something I have not been called in decades. Thanks for that!! I have spent way too many gems trying to complete the 10th order in the current 53 badge monthly badge challenge (Oct. 24). I never looked for a solution anywhere because I figured that I had deleted something, to get minimal gems, in order to complete previous orders. When I read that EA or Pogo (go ahead blame each other or the third party developer) continued to add this game in daily challenges without offering a fix, and now has players spend gems to purchase the right to play half of the current badge challenge, I'm disgusted. At the first sign of a developer error, the instructions should have been edited to include the part about not being too quick to delete items. Players could have at least clicked on each item before selling to see what they might be giving away. Or, since games become more difficult when they are offered as a challenge, I'm sure the reverse must be true as well. Make the badge easier to achieve. Twenty gems doesn't suffice since it would take 56 gems to purchase access to half of the 48. Get one of your developers - who wasn't working on a fix - to do the math in my account and you'll see that I've spent more, considerably much more, than 20 gems during each of several times I've tried to solve the sewing machine problem. Besides, what do gems actually cost EA/Pogo? Exactly!! It's called integrity, show some!! AND, if the instructions had been changed to include the part about creating and selling items, or, if the 3 Merge Academy challenges had been presented in reverse order, since often the subsequent badges require completion of the previous badge(s) (like first you need 20 completions, and then you need 30 and 40 completions for subsequent badges) I could have spawned several new items, created new merges with those items, and then sold the resulting items for gems. But now I'm at 9/10 requirements and I still have the other two challenges to complete.
