Lucky Cat Bingo - End of Event

Hello all. The Lucky Cat Bingo event concluded this morning, and as I came in third place for the event, it told me that I had earned the red cat. However, I cannot find any place where I can add this cat to either available room despite having plenty of space. I'm wondering if it is because I'm a free member, but it still told me that I earned the cat...it's just not showing up now or allowing me to place it. There was also no disclaimer that said the cats were only for certain levels of XP/etc. 

I was wondering if anyone else had this experience or if one of the mods in contact with Pogo could be of assistance. It doesn't matter too much to me, but since I did earn it & it told me so, I would like the cat lol. Thank you.
