Has anyone found a fix for the detective issue? I cannot get past the bird to play level. This means I cannot finish any challenges. Please help!

I am also having the same issues with the detective level 12. I cannot progress and get my badge either.
I am having the exact same issue!
BEEN HAVING THIS ISSUE FOR QUITE AWHILE NOW AND WAS TOLD THAT THE ISSUE WOULD BE SENT TO THE GAME TECHS BUT GUESS THEY CANT BE BOTHERED TO FIX IT.
I am stuck too, the bird will not go away no matter what I do. This is on PC and my tablet.
