Challenge for this week--Majong Safari, says match 40 but it is loading as you have to win 40 games. What is going on?

It appears that Mahjong Sanctuary is "stuck" where I cannot play the game. The bird wants me to use something and won't move further. it has already taken away all the giant waves and won't let me play the game. Therefore, I cannot go further on the quest and do not know how to fix it. HELP!!
