Merge Academy - Still has problems since August 30th update

I don't have those issues, but I have an issue with the game freezing when I try to complete a task, so I can't progress.  I could keep merging on the current level, but I am afraid I will lose the extra crystals when/if they fix the issue so I have decided not to play until they fix it.  Not that I am waiting with baited breath.  I reported the issue to EA Help, I was told 'it's a known issue but we don't know when it will be fixed'.  Sigh.
