Merge Academy all spaces filled
In Merge Academy, all of the spaces are filled and there's no way to clear a space. Someone said they have a trash can, but there isn't one in my game and there are no instructions on how to play. ...

Not sure if this is the case for you...but some items cannot be discarded. Those are needed to make new generators. You need to merge them, store them in the cupboard or work around them. Others, you click on it, and it will give you the discard/red trash option...or the option to turn in for crystals. But again, some items you WILL NEVER have an option to trash.
And, unless i'm going to need something soon, rather than merge it and keep it on the board, once it is "sellable", I turn it in for crystals. An item may be worth 2 crystals as is, but only 3 at the next level....so I'll sell two for 4 instead of combining and having to sell it for only three. Again though, that's only if I won't need it. in reality, you can always make more of anything later, so dump whatever is of less importance on the board if you can
How do you store them in a cupboard? I have four cursed cups that won't merge and I would love to get rid of them. Thank you for your time.
Drag the items to the storage cabinet. When you need them open and click and they go back on the board
