The timer for my trash can and the timer for the Wizardry Room changed permanently to 24 hours after I spent 10 gems to speed them up once. That was a couple months ago. It stayed that way. it never went back to every 12 hours like it was. I have completed 8 classrooms. Its only in those 2 rooms that the bonus item timers are stuck at 24hours. the other 6 completed rooms allow me to collect every 12 hours.

It seems that using the skip timer changes the collection interval from 12 hours to 24 hours permanently, apparently this is an intentional part of the game design.
Having it change permanently was quite a surprise, feels a bit like punishment.
Hopefully, the developers might consider feedback and make adjustments in future updates. Until then, it would probably be best not to use the skip timer in any area.🤓
Day after I tried using the Skip Timer.............
After Collecting Energy, it reset itself to a 24hr wait, not 12hrs.
❌ Skip Timer Option permanently removed & a 24 hour wait time has now become the norm.
Regular Wait Time
Before using the Skip Timer (just once), the wait was regularly 12hrs.

It looks like my trashcan has reverted back to 12 hours today! Hope yours does the same 😊
As of today 8/7 my timer is still 24 hours after I used the skip timer 3 days ago... this is punishment for using gems in the game certainly not happy anyone know how to fix it
