I imagine that EA is tired of hearing from players that Merge Academy is not working but it has been a week. Energy is not regenerating and because that is a key factor of the game players will continue to complain until it is fixed. So, there are several options: 1) fix the problem, which is the preferred option, 2) stall a bit longer but give each player about 500 energy to pacify them for a brief period, or 3) continue to ignore the complaints and do not repair the problems in Merge Academy. It appears that many updates took place at once and that may have been the issue. I do not know what the problem is or was with this update, but a week is way too long for this issue to be continuing. The players pay to access this game, it is not a free game, and EA is not a free site. Merge Academy is the only merge game and should be a priority for the company to repair. When Pogo switched from Java to the new platform we lost numerous games of many varieties, and the majority of game offerings now are typically different versions of Mah Jong, solitaire and object search. At the very least, some communication should be sent out to the players regarding the status of the repairs or work being done to repair the game.
