playing the new in town sweet tooth badge

I tried playing the new in town badge for sweet tooth but it keeps freezing you can not advance.  I can load it, play several turns then game freezes and have to hit refresh button to reload the game and I lose progress with that particular level.  Anyone else having this issue?
