Pogo Chat Issues - December 2025

Update: I have been on pogo for over 20 yrs and am completely aggravated that this has not been fixed. I made a new ID and it worked fine for a week then it too started hash tagging all my conversations. I'm now on my 3rd ID and it's working fine...so far. So its NOT my computer that has the issue, it's pogo. Please remove chat filters so I can get my original name back and working!

 12/18/2025 People are still having problems with the chat and getting the #'s, especially our friends in Australia.

p.s.  EA I hate that dang name you assigned me too.  My screenname is Litemycandle#13.  That MadameX13 has caused mental stress because I get so many unwanted guys out of woodwork wanting to be my friend. How are people getting our s/n's; they are not all pogo players.  Is there a list?  

Sweet Play is still broken I got no progress for completed this badge and now it freezes up.  Also lobby chat is hashtag comes out like this ########### Host cannot host games like this.  We pay for this and it has been days nothing is fixed.  While on the subject whats up with Gin thats been down for well over 4 months this is not fair to league players who pay for pogo.

Things that pogo is currently turning to hashes when I and others type them:

Most of what I type gets thru ok.

The Problem is not the browser history as agents keep telling us. It is temp files dumped onto the computer whenever we win a badge.    To fix this tap the Windows and R keys on your keyboard ( if a windows pc ) It brings up the run box.                                                                             Type the word  temp and click ok. Brings up a temporary folder, select folders inside it and delete. A prompt will appear this action cannot be completed because ... check mark the box do this for all and click skip. It deletes only the folders that can be deleted or the like.  Do this again windows and R and type %temp% and click ok, Brings up folder TWO of temporary files. Select all and delete, same prompt check mark do this for all and click skip.   I am commenting this here because I read the above link that said clear your browser history. This was the sort of false help that I got from the agents when pogo was pogo owned.  Deleting  browser history is not the problem, My history is set to delete one exit. The problem lies in pogo dumping a lot of temporary files onto the computer whenever you complete a challenge and get the badge. Over 4 years before knowing about these folders I had 10 to 20 GB of un needed data slowing my computer down. That data was those pogo cookies or temporary files that never got deleted. So those two above steps that I mentioned above need to be the first solution that agents tell players to try to see if it fixes their problem. Whenever I face a bug on pogo that is the first line of defense to check is clearing  those folders!   Now the reason I am here is because I am one of the above not banned but facing the hash tag chat blocker. It is not my history nor my temporary folders causing the problem it is POGO that is broken again. I had even begun to blame a recent windows security update for the problem but as you can see I am typing here just fine so it is not our computers it is pogo that needs to be fixed. But If you do face problems loading games try the above steps, Steps the agents never tell you about. Good luck...

It appears to be the same all over.  I can type using a non member account but member account is totally pathetic.

I am having same issue an still not working , i have followed the steps in cleaning my computer/and laptop an all. Don't know what else to do .

I am thinking of not renewing my membership. I have been with pogo for many years an the past couple months it has been going downhill , cant get into play a game to gin with friends the past 2 months going on 3 and the past week i cant even chat . Come on pogo you are really not the best site anymore.

I have windows 11, intel graphics, i am using edge but i tried 3 different browsers, all my drivers are updated and my browsers.....its been a week and I still cannot chat with my friends except the occasional 2 letter words....otherwise its all censored ##########  .I feel Pogo is not honoring the agreement i am paying for.  I would like someone to get back with me on this issue! Please.
