Pogo Daily Sudoku NOT resolved

I really, REALLY wish you all would actually go look at the issue yourselves instead of making us jump through hoops. There are at least 30 posts/replies of this issue happening & I'm fairly certain we're all on different devices. If I can play the dailies, but not the challenge, the issue is certainly on that end.  But to appease some of your curiousity, I am on a newer PC, using the latest version of Google Chrome as a browser and at the moment, do not feel like jumping through those other hoops when I know it's on Pogo's end! I am not trying to be rude, just very frustrated that no one has resolved this and we get the same pat "resolution" every time we bring up an issue.

Most of the posts in this Technical Help forum are about Daily Sudoku and most of the chat in the Daily Sudoku game chat is also about these problems.  Doesn't that tell you something is really wrong?  Maybe one of you should try playing the game?

The challenge game doesn't work (this is the most common complaint).  if you open the game, go to the challenge game and click "play", the board comes up but no numbers are filled in.

• Work around:  Refresh (reload) the game.  Go back to 2021 and play a game.  Come back to current date and click the trophy and "play"; now it will load.

Board looks weird and can't play because you can't even read it and you can't click on hardly anything.

• Work around:  Refresh the game and wait for it to completely load before clicking anything.
• Alternative:  Click the gear and to go back to the calendar and try starting the game again.

Board is frozen.  The game board mostly looks right though a few things can be missing.  Clicking numbers to try and play the game does nothing.  I have seen this after trying to play the challenge without playing a 2021 game first, like I've given up on trying to do the challenge and decide to just play one of the normal games.

• Work around:  Refresh the game and use work around before trying to play the challenge.

Game won't resume after "Still playing?" warning.  Unlike this game in the past and all the other Pogo games, when you click "Continue", it always says, "Connection Lost...".

• Work around:  Refresh the game and try not to pause so long; lol & smh.
• Note that if you time out while playing the challenge, you have to go back and play another 2021 game before going back to the Challenge.

Bottom line:  Pogo, are you kidding?  Can't you figure out any of why this is happening?  I'd say most of these things are happening to a lot of players, so not likely to be my set up or theirs.  Your list of "known" problems don't include any of these and yet many of these problems have been around for a while, at least a month or two.  Please prioritize this.

REALLY POGO?! WE'RE ALL HAVING THESE ISSUES WITH DAILY SUDOKO. IM TRYING TO COMPLETE THE CRUISE CHALLENGE AND NOW IM STUCK. WHY WONT YOU ACTUALLY ADDRESS THE ISSUE INSTEAD OF TELLING US TO DO THE SAME STEPS OVER N OVER THAT OBVIOUSLY AREN'T WORKING?!?!😡😡😡😡😡😫😡😡😫😡😫😫😫😫😫😫😡😡😡😡

I know you want my device and OS info, etc, and I wanted to post it yesterday but ran out of time.  To be honest, if you know of a browser where it works correctly on a Mac, I'd like to know.  It doesn't seem hard to find a combination that doesn't work, sadly.

My set up

• Mac 2018 15" with touch bar
• MacOS Monterey 12.5.1
• Firefox 104.0 (64-bit) -- just updated this for a second time since these problems showed up; it continues to be broken the same ways

Screenshots for the various problems

Challenge game problem:  This is also the described in this post Re: Pogo Daily Sudoko and there are screen shots in another post that are similar to what I see.  My screenshot is below, "Blank challenge puzzle.png".  Nothing works on that one; clicking on numbers at the bottom does nothing; clicking on empty spaces does nothing.  I clicked on the calendar at the bottom and then saw "Messed up calendar.png".  I then clicked on the hard puzzle for 8/26 (which I haven't yet done), and I got the frozen board problem below.

Board looks weird and can't even read it:  Another post shows a screenshot similar to what I see.

Board is frozen:  In this case, the board looks normal; see "Normal looking.png".  When I click on a number, nothing happens.  If I click on a box, the numbers do the little wave thing to remind me to select a number first before clicking a space (I used "number first" mode).  If I type a number, it selects it but if I then click on a space, nothing happens.  Only remedy is to refresh the page.

Time out problems:  All I can show you is the dialog boxes, except you don't allow me to include any more attachments here.  Just note that I almost never get "Connection lost" in any other game, and when you time out playing the challenge puzzle, it's very annoying because you have to go back and play another 2021 game and then start over on the challenge game itself.

Screenshot attachments  I thought you were going to let me have 3 attachments but after I checked the preview, I found it only allows one.  When I choose a second one, it forgets the first.  So, I will just attach the first one; let me know if you want the others later; smh.

More system information?

I'm not sure what other system information you might want on my Mac as System Information app can generate a huge report with tons of information, most of which probably wouldn't help you -- and not something I want to post publicly.  Let me know if there is other specific information you need.

I do hope you can resolve these problems.

I don't know if you all have had your question answered or not but here is a workaround so you can play Pogo Daily Sudoku

I have included 2 screenshots to aide in understanding the workaround.

This is using Google Chrome Browser.

1. Load the game and stop.

2. Click on the X to close the opening page.

3. Now click on the left arrow till it says 2021 (month don't matter).

4. Now click on any difficulty to open puzzle.

5. Click on the gear and then calendar and then quit

6. Click on the right arrow till it stops.

7. Click on today's daily puzzle and you should have numbers and be able to play.

@EA_Illium have you tried playing the game in question yourself? I feel that when we bring up an issue, if you went & tried it yourselves & it didn't work for you, you'd have all the info you needed to forward up. Not that it has ever done any good to date. I'm starting to feel I should not renew my Pogo subscription because issues never get resolved. 

There are many people still complaining about this game on a closed thread, and there are several other threads relating to this issue. Clearly, it is on Pogo's end.
