Poppit! Party -- daily challenges disappeared

I am hoping that someone could help with a problem in Poppit! Party.  I am playing on Google Chrome and this morning I logged in to the second set of costumes to try to complete a task to use a costume 21 times.  I still had 17 minutes to go, so I switched to the first set of costumes and there were no new daily tasks to complete.  I switched back to the second set of costumes and all of the the challenges have disappeared and the side where they are supposed to show up is blank. (see attached image).  

I have tried to clear the cache files from Google Chrome and restart the computer and it didn't fix the issue.  Now I am wondering what I need to do next?

    Today the challenges are back. I didn't get a chance to try the Chrome incognito mode but will try to remember to do that the next time it happens.

    I get thru until it says ballooning, but it does not go beyond this, so cannot play.
