I am playing the Diamond Collection, 80 pairs of shell tiles in 4 weeks. I have played 6 games and only received credit for one set of tiles out of ten that I should have earned.

play the game and use the extra and won and did not get the reward
Did you win the games for the ones you did not get credit for? If not that's why you did not get credit. If not I don't know what the problem is
Yes, I won the games I earned, but I was not credited for them. It is no longer an issue as I have completed the challenge.
