Re: Farm Merge Valley: Not Loading or Freezing

  Typing for my wife on her account. She loves playing this game and has put a lot of time into it, but hasn't been able to play in a few days and asked for my help.

  The game doesn't necessarily 'freeze'. When she starts with the play now button, the loading bar continues across the bottom with the little tractor, loads her saved game and the game begins, but is suddenly interrupted by a 'Daily Challenge' dialog. When that happens the game is darkened in the background and you can't click ANYTHING in the gaming area. She can't click Collect/Accept button, can't close the window (No X to close), can't press escape on the keyboard. Nothing functions.

  She can however interact with the right sidebar.  She can mute audio, maximize the screen and all other related functions, but the gameplay window just sits there. It's still running in the background, icons still wiggle or move around or pulsate behind the pop-up. And the autosave checkmark in the upper right turns green from time to time. But there is no interaction between her mouse and the gameplay screen.

  So far:
• I've dumped all temp files/cookies/cached data on her browser (Firefox), and restarted many times.
• I've tried Chrome and Edge signing in as her...no luck, same result.
• I've tried on my phone, my PC at home, my work PC.

All do the same thing.

  However, If I sign out and start a new game from scratch, I can play it with no issues, but she's made a good bit of progress in this game and it would be horrible to lose her progress and start all over. Leading me to believe that somehow her save data became borked/corrupted and it's just stuck in this state at every startup. Like I mentioned, things still move around on screen and the game isn't necessarily FROZEN.

Her mother plays as well at her house and her progress level is different, but she continues to play without issue.

  If anyone knows of a fix, that I haven't tried, or could somehow guide me to get this issue escalated to support it would be greatly appreciated. I'll continue to look around for a solution or reach out to developers and see if they could assist as well.
