Which level are you on? Once you reach 100 you can play random levels but you gotta finish those 100. Not easy, thankfully my husband has more patience than I do and was able to do those levels.
I have completed 100 levels. I do not see an option to play previous levels.

Hey there, @WistfulWoman.
If you finish the Beach, for example, you can return to the Beach and press Play. It will give you a random level from those first 100 levels. While you're not able to choose which level, it will give you a random level from that grouping.
