Uninvited "Friends"

Going thru my "Friends" list, I discovered a number of people that I did not request as "Friends". When I tried to "unfriend" them, it wouldn't allow me to do so. They are locked in to my list someho...

Answers HQ is a place set up for players to help one another with questions. If you're looking for more urgent assistance it would be better to reach out to the EA Help team and speak with them over the phone or via live chat. You can find more details on how to submit a case with them over at the EA Help website. 

You posted your thread on the "General Questions" board on Answers HQ, but you didn't specify what game or product you were having trouble with. I just needed to confirm what exactly you were having trouble with so I could move your post to the right place. 

I've since moved your thread over to the Pogo board.

@EA_KentI owe you an apology. I've gotten my sites mixed up. This isn't for Pogo. However, Pogo IS having problems w/the friends list. Some people aren't able to find their friends. They just disappear. So, some assistance is still needed.
Sorry about the misunderstanding.

BTW, I DID reach out to EA Help. They told me to come here.

    Hey there, @BluByu10.

    First off, thanks for the assist, @EA_Kent, and for helping get it to the right place. 🙌

    I took a look at your recent cases and the last one I see is a Mahjong Sanctuary error. Do you have a EA Help case number for the Friends bug you reported? I'd love to take a look at the status of the report.

    There are a few things you can try to start:

    • Try clearing your browser cache. If it is old or outdated information being shown, this can pull the latest data to ensure that everything is up to date on the page.
    • Try another supported browser. This will also rule out any cache / cookie issues, as well as if there's an issue with how that browser itself may be displaying the page.

    Can you give those a try and let me know how it goes in removing these odd ghost friends? I look forward to hearing from you.

        @EA_Arrenai Hey!
        If you read #7 you'll see that I got my sites mixed up. The issue wasn't w/Pogo. There's no case # because I was told to come here for answers.
        I DID mention that there IS a friend issue in Pogo as well. Friends keep disappearing. You can't locate them in games or communicate well thru messages. It's an intermittent problem. Many people are talking about it, so it seems to be a glitch somewhere.
        Maybe we can save this topic from my mistake by looking at Pogo's problem?
