✨Service 2.0 Update - Feedback Thread✨

What EA has done to players with this new "update" is abhorrent. Yes, it's just a game and a slightly pointless one at that, but for the powers that be at EA to create an update that literally undercuts hours and hours of work/playing that people have put in on their cities all in the name of what? What was the point of suddenly making our cities broken? Who thought anyone would enjoy this? I can not wrap my head around the gross negligence of what this update has done to the game. And to get this out of the way, I have experienced the update in all of it's inanity and broken functionality. That it attempts to exploit the players by taking what was once functional and moving the goal line is bad enough, but it also just freezes now when trying to update anything in the capital city. Which is fine because frankly it's such an offensive update that I'm not sure I want to continue my almost decade old cities. Why would anyone who plays this game want to have to update their utility services? Who did this? They should be fired. All of the ridiculous changes that have been made where we have to collect some random thing we don't want to exchange it for another thing we only kind of want were annoying, but not really offensive. This "Service 2.0" update is offensive. Some people spent actual money on these things that EA just pulled the rug out from under them on. To call this update catastrophic for EA shouldn't be read as hyperbolic. This was a profoundly wrongheaded move that should be immediately reversed. I'm aware that EA gave accounts more coins and other utilities, but it doesn't even come close to making this acceptable or okay. I'm not even sure what it is I enjoy about playing this game and yet I am on there everyday for almost ten years. Today I'm disgusted by what EA has done to it. Literally. Admittedly I don't have a lot going on today so that disgust is festering, but EA needs to wake up once and for all before they literally make this game intolerable.
