Nobody likes change, but it is especially difficult to accept when you play a game for a decade and all of a sudden everything you had done to make your city successful no longer satisfies the requirements. I appreciated when the service requirements decreased, and sold many service buildings to make room for expansion. If I had known that the new services requirements were going to be astronomical and bankrupt my city I would not have sold the ones I had. The regions that I did not change are now dysfunctional, after being perfectly content for years. My capital city cannot continue in its current state because the previous service buildings cannot be upgraded enough to suffice the new requirements. I get that EA needs to make money to pay staff and overhead, and have gladly spent real money to recognize that fact. Now there are more pop-ups asking a player to spend money and it takes 5 minutes to get into the game and play. The services 2.0 update is catastrophic to older players with established cities, the train experiment has never been integrated well into established cities and it seems like the updates punish loyal players in an effort to make it somehow appealing to new players. I do not want to start my cities over and may find myself abandoning the game as my residents abandon my city. Disappointing and not what anyone wants from a game that is meant to be enjoyable.
