Since the new update the game is unusable. While working through the newly. Required updates, the game soon freezes and I have to shut down and try again.  Then it soon freezes. Repeat 

I have played for many years, have built 5 cities.  Enjoyedit Now it’s impossible to do anything on the platform.

This is what happens within 30 seconds every time I log in.  On multiple devices. The new update is a disaster.
