✨Service 2.0 Update - Feedback Thread✨

You are not the only one seriously considering calling time on this fiasco of a game. 🤔  

Cette mise à jour est catastrophique. Malgré tous mes efforts impossible de faire les améliorations à temps. Ma capitale et tous les villes associées sont dans le rouge et les bâtiments doivent être tous rénovés. Cette mise à jour m’a renvoyé à l’âge de pierre. merci EA. Je dois tout remettre en ordre sans ne plus rien pouvoir faire pour mon équipe. C’est épuisant. JE QUITTE LE JEU !!!   I LEAVE THE GAME !!!

That was the whole purpose of the 2.0 update to get rid of long term players who they no longer viable to their cash grab and helping lower ranked players with items that they would normally spend real money on. Long term players are considered a burden to them and this update was  pacifically designed to get rid off such people. Basically a middle finger to the exact people who made them a fortune through this game in the first place.

Been looking for a reason to quit playing. This is probably it. Thanks for totally ruining this game. 

EA, please roll back the Services 2.0 asap. You’ll lose most of your long-time players if you don’t. This update was basically like giving your loyal players the finger and we really don’t appreciate it. 

Unfortunately I can find nothing positive to say.

On Tuesday , when this update hit, I spent most of my evening a night trying to repair, and come to terms with, damage. Not sure I slept that night. I don’t think you consider people’s mental health when making such detrimental upgrades.

I’ve only been active since late 2021, but have spent a lot of time, resources, and ‘real’ cash, only to have it destroyed. I have no idea how long my regions will take to repair, possibly months at the minimum. Not sure I have the motivation anymore. I’ve lost 1 million in population, and still have 4 regions in disarray. 

Very poor form guys. 

After the update I had bugs (demand VS capacity)

So I thought, why not start over? Stupid idea apparently because you cannot run the city properly without investing your own (and real) money. All the necessary updates are too expensive, especially at the start when you don't have this money. 

This is it for me, I quit...

Yep no one at or in EA know how it’s affected us the players. They simply say oooooo we are listening. Yeah right listening to their bosses not the players. Try this or I should say look what I found and I’ll keep posting this so everyone knows. Pity EA couldn’t do this at the start of the implementation of the so called 2.0 upgrade. 

I’ve never been so disgusted by an update and I’ve never seen such a total lack of regard and lack of apologetic reply after such an outpouring of grief and dismay by a player community. This update has taken people’s money and time and rendered it useless. EA has disregarded the hours and the real world money poured into game features like services only won by using sim cash. The transactions promised gameplay improvements that EA has now removed.

That isn’t an update. 

That is theft. 

You have stolen players money.
You have also stolen their time. 

I would be calling a boycott on all EA gameplay until a reply is given with a way forward or previous game conditions are installed. 

From where does the information come that Services 2.0 will be applied to every city about two weeks? That would fit why in my  COM orders since the the last COM week no orders were placed  in the dessert shop,  farm shop, toy shop and restauration office but only in the "normally* shops.
