Ad issues

Good evening. I'm writing in regards to video ads in game. I have watched several ads but I'm never granted the rewards because I cannot go back into the game without restarting it. I am very familiar with games like this and know many are on a time setting, but that time will be roughly 5-10 mins with no X to close or working back button. I've tried other settings on my phone from other user recommendations but nothing is working.

    This is a common complaint where no solution has been offered by EA. I would recommend not attempting to watch ads until EA releases a statement saying the issues with ads have been corrected, otherwise you are wasting your time.

    Tip / Faster Workaround for the unclosable ads: 

    I completely agree with the previous point that EA hasn't provided a solution yet and that it is  often best to just ignore these ads for now instead of wasting unnecessary time. However, in case you do not want to completely give up on these ads and their rewards, here is my advice on how I currently handle it to save a lot of time:

    I have noticed that the bug is permanently tied to specific ads. Right now, I get over 30  different broken ads and only about 5 that actually work and have a close button. As soon as you recognize one of the broken ads starting, don't watch it—just immediately hit the 'Back' button on your device to cancel the ad. You don't even need to force-close or swipe away the game!

    I tested this with the 85 seasonal currency ads, and you do NOT lose any of your 85 ad  allowances by backing out of them! The attempt is not consumed. However, you should definitely test this once for yourself to make sure it behaves exactly the same way on your end.

    CRUCIAL WARNING: Please be very careful when tapping for your next attempt! After you  back out, p ay close attention to the button. Make absolutely sure that the Ad Icon (video symbol) has appeared again. Do NOT tap too quickly if the SimCash button appears instead, otherwise, you might accidentally spend your premium currency!
