While playing SimCity BuildIt my battery is being consumed very quickly and phone gets hot. I'm using iPhone 15 Pro Max with the latest update of iOS. I have already tried to restarting the app and restarting the phone to no avail. Is this a known issue with the latest update of BuildIt?
heat has been a constant issue for me since I started playing also. when my device starts to get too hot I just set it on the tile floor to cool it off. it only takes about a minute and I'm back to normal.
however I can no longer charge while I play since this last update because the overheating issue is super bad if I'm plugged in and it causes my device to go all wonky and lock up.
I wasn't sure how long this problem has been going on, I played the game a few years back but never remembered having any issues like this. I stopped playing because I upgraded my phone and when I logged into the game I lost everything I had built so I just quit playing. Just redownloaded the other day and started playing the these issues showed up immediately so I was wondering about the latest update of the game, Ill have to try one of those phone coolers.
