OK. There must have been an update which makes the trains available every 10 minutes. That’s huge improvement over every two hours!
I was so excited about the possibility of this mass transit thing actually working well, that I built a second train route in a different region. I thought I could probably double my production of railway simoleons with two lines. Not so. Now, when I dispatch a train on one route, it delays the train on the other route by 10 minutes. This is completely contrary to how things would work in the real world, and it completely removes the incentive to build multiple train lines.
I strongly recommend that you make it so dispatching a train on one route doesn’t affect the other routes. If you want people to lean into this new feature, make it beneficial to expand our mass transit lines!
Agree with this point. Not much point to multiple stations unless you can dispatch independently.
Only reason I can think of...say you wanted to pay simcash to rush dispatches faster than people fill any one station, so you can rush more dispatches with multiple stations. Not that I ever want to have to do that...

Related, Still don't understand the point of where you route the train tracks.. my tracks just run a tiny loop around the station to avoid extensive layout changes

Can anyone tell me why i should keep 5 stations instead of 2? I think with this setup i better store 3 stations and clean the area with unneeded rails i could also use for better purposes? I wonder if i store them if the 2 extra passenger seats at the station are stored with them? I have 90 passenger seats at central station, for what? Hihi, i could do with 50 with my2 trains
