Bridges not functioning

It's not possible to build a bridge on multiple spots where it should be perfectly possible. Bridges have been around for ages, I'm paying this game regularly for extras, and this should be fixed NOW...

@willythedonkey It looks like there is a building in the way, hard to tell from those pics.

    That bridge won’t work on a road it has to span water as all bridges do
