I have more proof of the broken logic. I just received a request for Oil/Gas Canisters from Cactus Canyon, which I don't have unlocked.
What’s most interesting: So far, I’ve only received factory orders (like Silk) from my smallest unlocked region. Even though I have three other larger regions unlocked, the game never requested factory items from them.
I suspect I found the trigger: When I cycle through my active tasks using the arrows, the orders usually stay consistent (like getting Silk again). However, this locked region request appeared specifically after I claimed a reward through the Mass Transit HQ. It seems the HQ might trigger a different, bugged assignment logic that ignores regional filters. Now that tIhe task is active, I see it in my regular rotation as well.
This supports the reversed logic theory: instead of scaling 'up' to my larger open regions, the query moves 'down' the list and lands in a locked one. I refuse to spend SimCash to skip this. EA should provide the necessary SimCash as a refund to all affected players so we can cancel these impossible tasks. Screenshots attached!
