Can the developers please chill out with hotspot buildings every round?

I have come to accept that nothing that I or anyone else says here on the forum will be read and accepted, and will have little to zero effect on the game. In all honesty, I am not even convinced they read these forums. And I've accepted that although I think it's the lousiest thing added to the game, seasonal currency is here to stay.

But one thing that is really grating my nerves are the amount of hot spots that have to be upgraded to allow for full effect of pop bonuses, etc. There is nothing fun about grinding to earn seasonal currency and then having to spend it to upgrade a dang building if I choose to do so.

We have the Munich season with two new hot spot upgrades, and then some lousy Halloween themed season (seriously.... seriously? what a waste of a season) that will follow the Munich round. I have enough things to deal, upgrading hot spots is exceptionally annoying. I am perfectly aware it's my choice to upgrade them... and I don't.
