How can I promote a vice president (among five) to be the new president? The Promote button is grey now.
Note: a war is ongoing

What a lengthy process. Thanks for the input tho.
You have to demote all the other VPs leaving only the one you want to be president. Then you have to leave the club and rejoin if wanted, after the war has ended. The remaining VP will then become the new president. The new president can then promote the others back to VPs
