Contest of Mayors - demotion - is it clear?

In the leaderboard, it is obvious what position you need to be to be promoted, because there is a line and words telling you that above this line, you get promoted. But I have never seen such indicators for demotion.

Does every league have demotion? So far I have always been promoted, and was in Town this week. Perhaps it is just City and above?

I have heard people have been demoted from City. Does City have an indicator in the leaderboard, or is just hearsay on this forum of someone who got demoted from the position 81, therefore you know at least the last 20 get demoted?

Obviously, if you want/need to take a week off the Contest, you want to know what is the minimum effort to put in to stay in that league. ....and it needs to be clearly indicated in-game, for those peeps who don't read this forum.

EA has said straight out several times that the bottom 20 get demoted.

I have not seen a "demote" indicator in either the city or metropolis league leaderboard. Just the standard "no prize".
Also, I have typically seen about 10-14 mayors not competing at all (zero score). I would guess they'd be included in the "to be demoted" number, but who knows?

Thank-you DocVu for the answer.
However..... it seems that it *should* be specified in-game where the demotion line is.
How hard would it be for them to include it?
Not everybody reads forums, facebook, etc.
I'm just being grumpy, aren't I? :P
