Ok, so Vu called the aliiens and destroyed 3 buildings. One of them is asking for 48 nails and 48 wood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is there any way to get around that? I'll have to sell almost everything I have to be able to rebuild this one...
Please let me know if you have any idea.
Wow, 48 nails! What level are you! I haven't seen any rebuilds that bad, but I have only done 5 disasters so far and am at level 15.
Do you have a neighbor you can communicate with? Ihave some friends from another game who also play sim city, so we use that game's chat function to ask for items we need from each other.
If you are able to do that, maybe one or more of your neighbors can agree to buy a bunch of your stuff from the marketplace (make sure not to advertise it so only your neighbors see it). That will free up space in your storage so you can rebuild the building. Then ask them to put it back on the marketplace and buy it back from them.

That's an idea, in fact I already came up with another soluation, but it will take time and money. Save money to farm warehouse items so I can expand my storage.
It it were only 48 nails it wouldn't be so bad, but it's 48 nails AND 48 wood. It's unbelievable.

Dr. Vu's tower is absolutely a critical item to unlock in the game, if you hope to produce enough keys to purchase the 'specialization' buildings and increase your population significantly.
A good example of this would be the enertainment buildings, by collecting 50 or so keys through the disasters over about a week, I was able to increase my pop from 250k to 350k by placing the expo dome, convention center and the opera hall.
Defently worth the time and effort if you hope to build a metropolis.
