EA refused to restore seasonal currency after fixing issue

On the first day of COM/Mayors Pass/Event Track I collected the first set of 2850 seasonal coins in the event track BEFORE noticing the "grey circle" problem with the seasonal coin store.  For many of us, the seasonal store could not be accessed due to some error causing only grey circles.

Later they finally fixed the grey circle problem and I could access the seasonal coin store, however whatever they did to "reset" it caused me to lose the 2850 seasonal coins I collected from the event track.

I took screenshots and contacted "Customer Support" in the Help area of the game, and over the course of the last 5 days they answered exactly once per day, ending today to say I must be confused and that I didn't spend them all last season.

In reality i DID spend them all last season and I am NOT confused. My screen shots clearly show the circle issue THIS CURRENT SEASON, the one collected event track item, and the balance of the season coins showing 0.

They just refuse to be of any help and just insult you instead.

    I also got the "The game is designed in a way that no rewards can miss any city. They automatically get added to the city after logging back in."  response but obviously it DOES NOT WORK this way since after "logging back in" I STILL did not receive the coins after the EA "fix"

    Wow! That is almost exactly what happened to me except I "collected" 4950 new seasonal coins before I realized my total was still zero. I also had the gray circle and had even restarted my phone before trying to collect. 

    I contacted EA immediately, with screenshots, showing I should have collected 4950 new seasonal coins. I got the same pathetic replies such as, "Last season's currency expired, so that is why you have zero." In my screenshots, you could see the word "Cairo", so obviously the coins I should have collected were from this new season. The last two EA representatives stated something like, "The game is designed in a way that no rewards can miss any city. They automatically get added to the city after logging back in." 

    Ha! Anyone who actually plays the game knows that this is a bald-faced lie. That was not the first time I didn't receive some rewards I was supposed to have received. 

    Anyway, EA won't help despite my proof, so I'm over it. I've already reduced my playing time a lot, and I'm not spending a dime for at least this season. (Yes, until this season, I had always bought a Mayor's Pass, some Vu Passes, a Pocket Full of Sims Cash, and a few other odds and ends.)

    That's a terrible answer to give you - Seasonal Currency cannot be used across different seasons!

    You'd almost think they know less about the game than we do ... ;-)
