Epic points in building description - no effect

In building description is item epic point. But it seems to me having no effect on game. If these epic points count to epic building project, it would have sense to me. For now it's absolutely useles...

    The epic points shown in the specialization item detail seems to correlate to the number of epic points you receive when you fulfill a request made by that specialization item during the epic challenge.

10 points for turtle.
80 points for llama.
160 points for cheetah.
I had to use cheetah tokens to get to 160 points.
Once you reach 160, you can complete immediately.
