Epic projects almost cool but not

When I first saw the Epic projects I was really excited. I actually started playing the game again a lot. Until my speed up tokens ran out and I realized you don't get anymore while collecting "Token parts". The problem is you Need speed up tokens to complete epic projects!

There's almost no way you can get to the 80 point tier or the gold token tier without it!

For that reason Epic projects suck and I won't be wasting my time. after I hit 10.

If they wanted to make Epic projects cool every speed up token part should equate to one speed up token that you can use right away to help you complete the Epic project.

Anyways I'm really disappointed with Sim City Build it for that. I've been playing for 1 year and I'm at level 42.

I thought Epic projects was gonna make the game fun again, but they made it way too hard.

  • My concerns with the "Epic [fail] Projects" are many.

    1.  The 'need' to spend an entire 24h completing the project.  It's a GAME, not a job or an obsession, isn't it?

    2.  The vacuum cleaner effect on anything in storage.  OK, I now know to prepare for the onslaught.

    3.  The stupid building colours that result [I was lucky, my only one was quite normal].  I like my cities to look realistic, not some Mutant Turtle Nightmare.

Guess what?  I won't be playing that aspect of the game again.

  • I have a thought for improving Epic Projects:  give a bonus of deductions from 24-h turnaround on tokens.

Reason: it takes 40, 100, or 200 Epic Points to turn a building into a turtle, lama, or cheetah Epic Building, respectively, during an Epic Project.  That is a wide difference to make up at each level.  Why should someone who gets 190 Epic points get the same reward as someone who gets 101 Epic Points?  The way to address this disparity would be to create deductions in the turnaround time for each token: for example, a 5-minute deduction for every point over the minimum for each epic token.  Another solution may be for each token to be more than one-fifth of a coin.  What do you think, EA developers?
