Game is too laggy

After the design challange was finished and i wanted to collected my design currency i noticed that it takes longer as normally.  From this time ago i have every few seconds a delay of 5 to 6 seconds were i can do nothing. This is very  nervig.  I assume that this  problem  is comming from the EA Servers.

Since yesterday morning this game stops every few seconds for 5 to 6 seconds. To do anything for the  mayor COM is very nervig but to create a draft for the  design challenge is nearly impossibe. E.g.  if you try to load an object from the storage or to move an object in the design city to another place the game stops.

please can you pass this problem to your IT that they can solve it asap

Same here… since yesterday.  Game is virtually unplayable.  I have reported it but not heard back yet.  Had the same issue a few months ago and it was 3 days before they fixed it. 

Can’t visit other cities without the game freezing 

When will it be fixed? I cannot do anything for 3 days.

• Repeating non-stop 24 hours a day, every day

So… someone in a Facebook group suggested deleting and reinstalling the game to fix this exact problem that I was also having.  I was sceptical but decided to try it anyway… it worked!!!   Now, we should not have to do this to be able to play the game.  There surely is something that EA needs to fix, but for now there is something you can do.  

…but make sure your city is saved first or you’ll lose it.
