Global Market only Shows Donuts, Batteries, Detonators, and Watches

For several weeks, until yesterday (February 1), the Global Market showed a wide range of available products. Even though items often disappears quickly, they at least appeared for purchase. Now, star...

They need to introduce some sort of filtering search system. I know the items go fast but maybe at least they could let you hide certain items from appearing? That way it'd filter out all the stupid watches and donuts. I'm level 37 now and have not once needed either of those products. Please fix ASAP EA!

It appears from my testing that EA is screening certain higher level players from the Global Market. When I log off, and restart the game, when I first enter the Global Market, I see the usual full range of all products. However, once I have made that initial entry, every return to the Global Market results in the restricted, useless products of donuts, batteries, detonators, and watches. Once the server recognizes the higher level players, it appears to be discriminating against them. This is entirely backwards, since the higher players are most likely the ones that have spent money on the app.

    I have tried what you tested and I do not get the same results as you did, All i see is Donuts and Watches. I do think there is something wrong with the GT system

      Or, Here is an idea, how about putting a limit on the types of items that can be desplayed at anyone time in the GT????????

    Completely agree with Chris555222....

    Once in a while, when I refresh the GT, I will see other items show up, but it was definitely when I got higher in the levels or they just changed the code and it's just not working.

    Another thought I had was that certain players have calculated the "biggest bang for their buck" and realized that donuts/watches have the smallest amount "labor and cost" and the highest market price.  Thoughts?

    The other school of thought I've seen on this forum is that the market place is working correctly now.  Well that might be true too. But the problem is that the supply of these items is WAY out of proportion for their demand and thus flooded the market.  One way to fix this would set a timer on the items you place in the marketplace.  Unlike other marketplaces in some games, these items don't expire, though they may get bought by Daniel.  This could lead to stale inventory leading to our flooding of donuts.

      You know what absolutely UNACCEPTABLE about this Global Trade change is that it fundamentally changes the game play. And in doing so, all of us who paid for in-app purchases have effectively had that real money stolen from us. It is like an advertisement known as a bait-and-switch. many people have spent money only to have that which they used as the foundation for an informed purchase altered. EA needs to issue refunds for any in app purchases made before the Global Trade rules were changed, or else a savy trial attorney seems to have a decent class-action lawsuit.

        chris could u please elaborate how is ea stealing money with that change? I'm able to get what I need now w a bit of luck. this change made the market much better.

        if u are not looking for expansion storage or Vu items then I don't know what u r doing in the market. anything other than that can be produced. I'm getting lots of storage items now without infuriating popups about items not being available anymore.
