how to earn simoleons fast?

What is the best way to get Simpleon?I look for cheap goods in the trade and sell them, but this method will take forever. Please tell me the efficient way you are doing it.

You buy as many as burgers you can at global trade HQ and then take city advisors offers for more than its market price.

The reason you use burger is because it’s the most expensive item in the game, but you can do with other items.

The most expensive item in your city level would be beach expansion, might be hard to find at GTHQ though.

    Burger Farming steps;
    1) sell EVERYTHING except burger and war items
    2) buy burgers as much as you find
    3) wait for city advisor offer. Take any deal over the market price. Market price for 1 burger is 3,620, reject any offers less.
    4) repeat

You can do the same method for the burger or any other items, Just make sure to stick with one kind of item and get rid of others. So you get the offers only for the specific item. Good luck and happy building.

  •  Hello. Welcome to the forum.

There're 6 ways to earn Simoleons.

    1. Purchase with simcash
→never do this. simcashes are hard to earn, better to spend for something permanent like war cards or specialization buildings.

    2. Tax income
→make sure to collect tax from the city hall everyday.

    3. Opinion bubbles/chest ads/daily present
→you can get items/simoleons/greencash by clicking bubbles in your city or other mayors. Also you can watch ads for free chests. you get a daily bonus every 24 hours. they are all free, so don't miss them.

    4. House upgrades, Airport/cargo shipment
→you can earn coins but they actually may cost more than you earn

    5. War deliveries
→do deliveries and sell war items. The market price for 3 ammo boxes are 9,000 simoleons and the delivery costs are usually cheaper.

    6. Produce/Buy and sell or take offers
→Probably the best way. Make sure your factories and shops are working as much as possible. I usually make donuts, also nail is a great product to earn simoleons if you have time.

"Burger Farming" is the fastest way to earn simoleons. I've personally never done this because you need to stop all other activities (Production,CoM and war). Not sure what's your city level, but if you haven't unlocked burgers, you can do the same method with other items too.

    Happy building!

Thank you for the useful information. What is burger pharming? My city level is 19 and I haven't unlocked the burger.

Roughly 4 years ago (perhaps a little longer) a CM came into this forum and clearly called “Burger Farming” an unacceptable activity (I would use the term “illegal” but someone might take offense) and the activity was addressed with corrective measures. I suggest following this advice with caution,

The suggestion to get rid of all items but war is not consistent with what I’ve been seeing for a very long time...this “neighbor” request for hamburgers shows up a couple of times a week along with many other items...if purchasing is profitable purchase the item in the Global Market and if not move on. From a true economic perspective the production of hamburgers is one of the least cost effective ways to generate revenue...they are costly to produce, take significant time to manufacture the components and quite often you have to wait 3 days for them to sell to Daniel. People confuse a higher selling price with generating more profit...it does not. In a given week I will generate 3 times the revenue by selling items at one-fourth the selling price (with a discount) than someone selling only hamburgers. This isn’t a theory, we proved that as a club over a 4 week period with 4 mayors rotating with each mayor producing only hamburgers for one week while the others produced less expensive items...in every case the individual producing hamburgers generated the least revenue.

In January of 2020 I responded to this question in a thread with a very similar title by sharing:

My friend Roco has provided some very sound advice. What I recommend to folks in my club is to produce items that are not readily found in the market and most folks need at a price that represents value - items such as nails, vegetables, flour bags, chairs, etc. will move quickly and if you keep manufacturing facilities running and your market turning you will generate revenue - but as Rocco shared it takes patience. Make sure to open every bubble in your city and every city you visit - it is an excellent source to help generate revenue. I hope this helps...good luck.”

Thank you for your comment. Is burger farming illegal?I can't find the comment you mentioned from 4 years ago.I would appreciate it if you could tell me where the thread is. I have already earned Simleon in the Burger Farming method (my city level is low and I have used beach extension items instead of burgers) but is this a problem?

  • @JaxSim1991 That’s what was shared, unfortunately the search engine is somewhat limited and finding older posts are very difficult...I checked to see if I posted anything to the thread...I did not. As I shared earlier you will not make the level of profit you would by producing and selling more desirable, less expensive items that are actually in demand and sell quickly. Seeds, textiles (cloth), chemicals, etc. sell quickly...flour bags, vegetables, hammers, shovels, etc. move quickly as well...hamburgers do not.
You need to develop a solid economic plan that meets your circumstances. Remember this is a marathon and not a sprint. If you would like some assistance send me a private message and let’s take at look at your situation.

    Thank you for your comment.
I usually produce nails and flour, but it was not efficient to earn shim coins.
I made about 300,000 shimcoins a day using the method. We cannot achieve this by producing and selling it in the factory.
I'd like to do it again during the mayor's pass interval.

If this is illegal, I don't want to do it.Please let me know if anyone knows.
